Jones Lang LaSalle makes executive moves

(AP) — Jones Lang LaSalle Inc. said Tuesday that its chief executive for the Americas will move to a new role and be replaced by another top executive at the commercial real estate services firm.
Peter Roberts, CEO for the Americas for the past 10 years, will become chief strategy officer and be succeeded by Lauralee Martin, the company's current chief operating and financial officer. The changes take effect Jan. 1.
Chicago-based Jones Lang LaSalle said the moves will help position it for further growth over the next few years.
Martin joined Jones Lang LaSalle in 2002 as CFO and was named to the additional position of COO in 2005.
Jones Lang LaSalle said it will conduct a search for a new CFO. Martin will retain that position's responsibilities until a replacement is found.
Jones Lang LaSalle shares slipped 36 cents to $77.93 in morning trading.
